1. Camera Settings - You probably have the default camera settings when you first start the game and haven't done any study on how crucial your camera settings are. I won't go into too much detail on this issue because this is simply a simple tutorial leading you in the correct way. The greatest piece of advice I can provide here is to go to Liquipedia and look at the camera settings that professionals use and pick one that works for you.

2. Power shots - Hitting the ball powerfully is an important ability in Rocket League (most referred to as booming the ball). Powerful shots are difficult to defend, and when utilized effectively, they may put your opponents in an awkward position, allowing your teammate to take advantage of their misplacement. Booming the ball is crucial for defending your half because it gives you time and space to plan a great counterattack or recover from uncomfortable situations. Infield passes grow more regular as you go through the ranks, and poor hits become more commonly intercepted, resulting in you losing possession and perhaps goals in your net.

3. Aerials - This will be the most difficult skill you will acquire. It will take you hundreds of hours to learn how to aerial properly. Aerials are difficult. They necessitate both the control of your automobile in the air and the application of the appropriate amount of boost to get there. Freeplay Workshop maps and training packs are the best tools to help you improve aerial car control.

4. Teammates & mentality - "OMG my teammates are terrible, and they keep missing the ball!" THEY ARE THE REASON I'M IN THIS RANK'' (I’m talking to all of you champ 2’s)!!!! – This is something 99% of people will say and even I still say it sometimes however it's almost never the case. You must remember that this is a difficult game in which everyone (including yourself) will make mistakes, and the greatest thing you can do is remain optimistic. Only one thing will happen if you yell at your teammates or get angry at yourself: you will lose games. Losing games in Rocket League may be devastating, so understanding how to deal with defeat as soon as possible would be beneficial. Keep cool and realise that it's only a game. Your rank isn't crucial because you're still learning the game, which will take hundreds of hours.

5. Grinding - Keep in mind that this is a difficult game. It's quite difficult. It will take you many hundred hours to complete half of the tasks on this page. Every player in this game who want to improve must put in the necessary time. The choice of whether those hours are spent in ranked or freeplay is entirely up to the player. However, ranked experience is far superior to freeplay since it allows you to put everything you've learnt to the test. So, get out there and become rated, complete your exercises, freeplay, and personalised training, and most importantly, have fun.
